How to get a GPX file?

Our custom sports map poster editor is working with GPX files to display your activity on the map. In this article we will explain what GPX files are and how you can retrieve them from various tracking apps from sources like Strava.

How to download a GPX file from Strava?

The easiest solution if you use an activity of you is to use our Strava integration and load it directly in the editor.

But if you want to create a map from someone else's Strava activity, maybe as a gift for them, here's how to download the activity.
Unfortunately on the mobile app you cannot download the activity, this only works on their website. Go to strava.com and login in, search for your friends activity and open it. Then you should directly see a GPX download button on the activity map, as shown in the picture below:
